Responsibilities

• Working as part of the production team based in London, UK
• Responsible for developing 8-10 large scale (Stage 2) conference programs a year in North America
• Key element to this role is Speaker Acquisitions, obtaining anywhere between 20 – 30 speakers
• Conduct industry research and analysis and develop a bank of contacts within the sector within the industry sectors WTG works in
• Working closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure sales and direct marketing campaigns are successful and project event targets are met
• Writing copy for the conference program and event website
• Working closely with the operations and logistics team in both offices, ensuring that all requirements relating to the preparation of the conference rooms and speaker attendance at the events are fulfilled
• Ability to create feasibility reports on new event ideas (target audience, locations, time lines, etc)
• Meeting deadlines and targets

Qualifications:

• Post secondary degree or diploma
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience producing B2B commercial conferences
• Industry knowledge; Manufacturing preferred (but not required)
• Proven past experience producing successful conferences at the Stage 2 level
• No fear calling onto C-Level decision makers of Fortune 500 corporations
• Ability to travel approx 40% of the year, internationally and overseas
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Self motivator, driven, creative, hungry, strong character, strong attention to detail
• Excellent team player
  

Compensation:

Base salary + bonus (80/90/100/120) + 3 weeks vacation + travel paid for + benefits
