Andrew Brown
Group Chief Executive Officer

In 2008, Andrew assumed the role of Group Chief Executive Officer. He was previously joint MD and prior to that was CEO of Access Summits, which was acquired by WTG from its liquidators and which he turned around to become a contributor of 40% of the Group's profits in a period of 3 years. Prior to founding WTG, Andrew headed up the conference division at SPG Media and had production roles at IQPC and Business Intelligence.

As Group CEO Andrew is responsible for strategy and growth, working alongside the senior management team to commercialise new business opportunities and expand the business. He was recently shortlisted as a regional finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards 2011.

Mike Harding
Group Finance Director & Chief Operating Officer
Based in London

Mike joined WTG in 2006 as Group Finance Director. Before joining WTG he was Finance and Operations Director at EuroFinance Conferences, a provider of global cash & treasury management conferences and training, a role he held for seven years until he exited when the business was sold to The Economist. He has previously held roles within Allied Domecq Plc and Taylor Nelson Sofres Plc. Mike is a qualified Chartered Accountant and earned his designation at Ernst & Young.

Mike is directly responsible for Finance, IT, Credit Control, Operations and HR.

Maria Villablanca
CEO North America & Managing Director
Based in London & Toronto

Maria joined WTG in 2003 and is a board member within the business. She was appointed CEO of North America in 2009 and MD of the Summits Division in 2011. She originally joined as a Sales Manager and was appointed a Sales Director in 2004. In 2007 she relocated to Toronto as SVP to take charge of the North American business. Prior to joining WTG she was a sales executive for Cornhill Publications and Summits.

Maria now divides her time between London and Toronto and is directly responsible for all WTG summits and for overseeing the day-to-day smooth operation of the North American office.
